Classic Mango Lassi

Prep: 5 minutes | Serves: 2 | Difficulty: Easy

Creamy, refreshing, and perfect for hot days. Our family's go-to summer drink.

Ingredients:

1 ripe Maha Chanook mango, cubed
1 cup plain yogurt
½ cup milk (or coconut milk for dairy-free)
2 tablespoons honey or sugar
¼ teaspoon cardamom (optional)
Handful of ice cubes

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 1 minute. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a pinch of cardamom or a mango slice.

Tip: For an extra thick lassi, use frozen mango cubes instead of fresh plus ice.

Mango Sticky Rice

Prep: 45 minutes | Serves: 4 | Difficulty: Medium

The classic Thai dessert, made with our Maha Chanook mangos.

Ingredients:

1 cup sticky (glutinous) rice
1 can coconut milk
⅓ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 ripe mangos, sliced
Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

Soak sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain and steam for 20-25 minutes until tender. While rice cooks, warm coconut milk with sugar and salt until dissolved. Reserve ¼ cup for drizzling. Pour remaining coconut milk over hot rice and stir. Let sit 10 minutes to absorb. Serve with fresh mango slices, drizzle with reserved coconut milk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Tropical Smoothie Bowl

Prep: 10 minutes | Serves: 1 | Difficulty: Easy

Thick, creamy, and loaded with toppings. Breakfast paradise.

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 frozen banana
¼ cup coconut milk
Toppings: Tropical Granola, fresh fruit, coconut flakes, chia seeds

Instructions:

Blend frozen mango, banana, and coconut milk until thick and creamy. Add more liquid only if needed — you want it thick enough to eat with a spoon. Pour into a bowl. Top with granola, fresh fruit, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey.

Fresh Mango Salsa

Prep: 10 minutes | Serves: 4-6 | Difficulty: Easy

Sweet, spicy, and fresh. Perfect with grilled fish, chicken, or tortilla chips.

Ingredients:

2 ripe mangos, diced
¼ red onion, finely diced
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt to taste

Instructions:

Combine mango, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro in a bowl. Add lime juice and salt. Toss gently. Let sit 10 minutes for flavors to combine. Serve fresh.

Tip: For milder salsa, remove all jalapeño seeds. For more heat, leave some in.
